For many years, I was a burned-out, over-achieving workaholic. As an NYU graduate who devoted 20+ years to a successful entertainment career in NYC/LA, I know how it feels to be sacrificing yourself for a life that "should make you feel happy" ...only to be swimming in inner turmoil and feeling disconnected from yourself and your purpose instead.

After trying ALL the things to feel better, I followed a gut feeling to leave everything behind and move to Nashville. Weeks later, I was in the audience during the mass shooting at the Route 91 music festival in Las Vegas.

A severe panic attack, alone on the floor of my Nashville apartment weeks after the shooting, was my deciding moment: anything that was NOT fully supporting my healing and well-being would be stripped from my life.

Everything I knew about my life burned to the ground during a dark night of the soul that uncovered decades of family trauma. I chose estrangement from my parents and most of my extended family. I felt so confused, lost, alone and terrified by how to heal and flourish.

I explored so many healing modalities! Trauma-informed care was a game-changer for me. I had to learn a new definition of love, how to trust others and myself again, how to authentically be me instead of being what others needed from me, how to show up in community as myself to receive the love and support to flourish and share my gifts.

Reiki was the most supportive for feeling held, loved and safe while coming back home to myself, my intuition, my spirituality and my personal power. Understanding my Human Design and Gene Keys unlocked my creative genius and inspired a life full of authentic expression centered around my soul’s purpose.
